Well, I wish it was a cool morning but this heat wave isn't accommodating us. It was 68 this morning and did my morning walk in 81 degrees as the heat was quick this morning. Climbing to 113 today. UGH!

yep, I'm just a little North of you and your numbers are familiar. Something like 75° for overnight lows would be amazingly cool, especially if the humidity was below 75%. Our normal highs have been hanging around the 100° since the first of August but looks like the rest of this week will be closer to low-mid 90's. If it's anything like a normal years, November will finally be closer to mid 40's to lower 70's. As much as I dislike the 100° days, I'd rather have those than the damp, drizzly 35°-40° weather.

But, I learned a long time ago that you're going to get what you're going to get .... so (speaking for myself), suck it up a deal with it.

ps I can't believe all y'all having winter temps in the middle of my summer

Well, don't forget, that they actually have four seasons, and some of them don't realize that we only have two seasons. Its either winter or summer, and summer last a whole lot longer than winter does. Down here on the Gulf, we may not hit the 40s until middle of December. But,......I don't have to worry about being "snowed in".

It's supposed to be back in the low 80s here by Friday. The good news is the light looks different and the air feels different. In other words fall is around the corner.
