I am in the process of teaching my 13 year old daughter gun safety and marksmanship so I haven't brought out the big gun this year it has all been .22 She is catching on quickly and is holding a 2" pattern at 50 yards after 3 trips to the range. Could not be happier that she is looking forward to it and asking "When can we go again"...Some things are worth keeping "baby in the corner"

Sad to say it was last deer season, which was the first part of December. I do get to practice my Schutzen style a couple time a week though

    MGA4848, is that a competition?

I had a nice time with my 1894 at the range today. I have it zeroed for my hunting load. I need to develop a lead bullet load with about the same trajectory. That way I can get in the needed practice. I also checked the .22. I need to shoot it a lot more.

Yes we have a match once a month. 22s offhand at 200 yards. You need to practice a lot.

I shoot .22 at 200 yards offhand all the time with no practice at all...Oh wait... did you mean you need to practice if you want to hit the target...that makes sense my bad

I don't shoot them very often... most are JM's and that is why. I shoot my Remlin 1895G occasionally though.
