I got tired of replacing pins in my commercial forming tool when wire over .040" is used. Whipped up a tool out of junk.
A stainless relay cover for a base plate, a piece of aircraft Alumilum for main housing. A bolt turned down for shaft and a piece of tool steel for form block. Crank off a old IBM card sorter. Project went smooth except I drilled form pin hole to close to center. Have to redrill to get clearence for .040"-.050" wire. This is for musky and pike baits and linkages for various gas powered implements. Choke and throttle linkages made to order from stainless wire.image.jpegimage.jpeg
