hard trigger on third test fire on 336 35 rem

    hi guys
just got my 35 and pretty excited
its a 1974 and not mint but the bore is super clean, the steel and blue is very good , the stock was crappy until i did my touch up magic. it was missing the rear sight but have one on the way.

    here's my issue
i took 5 rounds to the range the other day ( 15 degrees out here) to try it out and the third round had a very hard trigger, i'm not sure what the cause of that was.

anyone with suggestions or tips what to look at would be greatly appreciated

Try it a bunch at home with a snap cap and see if it happens again.

Maybe not even close, but make sure the lever is closing all the way and allowing the two piece firing pin to be straight and aligned.
