I use to put in a big garden every year, plow the garden, spread the compost over it disk it all in . Plant all the stuff
Pick all the potatoe beetles off the plants, cultivate the garden, put the fence up around the garden to keep critters out, drag the hoses out and sprinklers water the garden. Pull the weeds , pick the tomatoes, and all the vegetables. Take the fence down chop up the plants plow it all under again.
Then one day driving down the road i saw this farmers market, and he had all this stuff all ready to buy and eat.
I could drag this out more , with just my old Oliver, you have to hitch up the plows and take them off hitch up the trailer and load the compost by hand / shovel , take it aronnd the garden and pitch it off, un hook the trailer
Back up to the disks hook them up disk the garden, you get the picture

As we get older, those farmers markets look better and better all the time! Easy on our backs also!

Lemon meringue pie for me please. One of the best things about the US is your pies, no one does pies like the Americans. Why its almost worth a holiday just to eat as many as I can.

With all that work in there, how can it be national relaxation day?
