    Central Texas buck

I got this one yesterday evening.
Our rut is later than usual here this year.
He was running a doe, and there was another smaller
    buck running her too.
Never seen him before. I was after a wide 10pt we had
    been seeing on camera.
I was carrying my 308 99 Savage featherweight.
shot was 180 yards or so.

The main beams are 18-3/4 and 20"
    17" outside spread.
Pretty nice one for around here.

    Beautiful buck! Congrats!

    Powder was Benchmark.

    I love this featherwieght.
I've owned and hunted with lots of rifles...
but this one I like about as much if not more
    than anything I ever had.
    I have 3 99's.
