    I'm only half-joking with my "de-evolution" explanation.

When you get a load of some of the creatures who come out of the deep woods to shop at WalMart on Saturdays, you can see that many are way more than half-way to being feral humanoid-ish. I've hired some guys here in East Texas to help me work around my place who are "iffy" on the whole civilization thing.

If some humans have lived on the far edges for long enough, possibly generations, then they would still be human (intelligence, etc.) but would also have developed the ultimate in deep-wilderness survival and evasion skills.

For example - how many highly trained and well-equipped specialists with all kinds of support are required to track down some of these elusive mountain-man desperadoes who commit a crime and then head for the wilderness?

The possibility surely exists for a very small population of either feral humanoids or a separate species (BigFoot) to remain elusive.

Let me be clear: I don't howl at the moon or beat on trees in the middle of the night. If they exist (I still say "If" even though my mind and senses tell me I saw a BigFoot) I am of the opinion that they need to be respected and protected.

With the size of our North American Big Foots/ Sasquatch, we ought to be thankful that they aren't aggressive towards us. They could literally tear us apart.

    Did someone mention ghosts?

FWIW I have a (true) ghost/apparition experience that involved my then GF's grandmother.happened in Mt Airy NC. And the family there pretty much knew she'd 'appear" to me as they told me afterward that she always appears to any one new that comes to the homestead(was hers before her death)

Yep. I saw th apparition of a little ol' lady in a red and white checkered long dress.....except I could see *through her* as well as see her. She appeaered beside me at end of porch steps then walked over to the flower garden and knelt over to , I suppose, tend to her gardening...disappeared after about 10-15 seconds.

No joke...really shook me up. And yes I'll swear it on a stack of Holy Bibles and yes I was straight as preacher

Only buck I saw all season, Can't imagine why? Enough comedy,,, I can't help but believe there is more to life than superstition! As Navajo stated this has gone on for century's and in many places. Far too many cultures agree on this?

    busted..........
Or a bad joke on Dad by creative kids.........
It would be sad day for my kid if I had to search the internet to be sure my trail cam pics hadn't been highjacked.

Hmmm ... However, that does pose an idea for some real fun... and I know just the guy who needs a good spoof.

Well guys, it appears to be the same pic to me also, just mirrored image. I can assure you I did no photo shopping as it is a accomplishment for me to just post a picture on the PC. I did text the picture to several people however, and all I can say is that is what was on the cam. I do not believe in ghost and such and have no intension to deceive anyone, what for ? If someone PC savvy put it on a web sight, I don't know but, rest assured I will not pee on your leg and tell you it's raining. The picture was developed at walmart, after seeing the strange shadow I took a picture of the picture laying on my kitchen table to text it to some hunting buddies, that's why the wood grain border around the picture and the reason for it being turned the wrong way.
