    Hiking to Bridge Mountain (Pics)

Believe it or not, this is what much of the trail looks like:

Some shots of me on the trail:

We made it to the mountain but didn't make the summit. We hit a spot where the trail markings conflicted and we weren't going to take the risk of making the wrong choice. I did some more reading about the trail and I think we will try for a summit next spring.

It's hard to tell but the blurry spot in the middle of this pic is my friend Josh starting up the actual mountain:

    The same shot without zoom:

As you might guess, I didn't make it as far as Josh. I think there is a better route and where the markers got conflicting is where actual mountain climbing with ropes splits off from the real trail.

On another note, in a wash with a few trees and some dirt high up on the mountain (about 6,000') we found this little guy:

How or why a little toad was so far up in a rocky, arid place I'll never know.

Did I forget to mention the 1,000' shear drops on either side of the trail? They get as close as few yards away in some spots.

Nice shots of mountain. It looks good and awesome. Here I want to ask how you climbed. Is it dangerous? I am fond of such activities but I have no idea. If you have info then tells me tips for going on a mountain. Hope you will help me.
