Cut a brisket to fit the pot, dump in 2 cups of beef broth and a tablespoon of liquid smoke, pressure cook and 70 minutes later you have excellent table fare.
2 servings of spaghetti and 3 cups of chicken broth for 12 minutes, release the pressure and dump in your favorite pasta sauce.
2 cups of rice, 2 cups of chicken stock and a full bunch of cut up asparagus - hit the rice button.
Notice I use stock as the cooking liquids instead of water. Maximize your flavors... I lived out of my instant pot living in an RV for a year while on a job a few years ago and found it indispensable.
