new or old style bolt hold open lever

    Hello,

So glad I found this site. My wife just gave me a Camp 9 for Christmas. I had one years ago and sold it when money was tight and always wished I had it back. The one I have now appears to be "old style" with no button for the bolt hold back. I take out the magazine and try to push in the charging lever and it won't stay back, so not sure what to do there - have to investigate further. My question for the experts here however is the bolt holdback on Numrish says this is the "new style" but it is the same that is on my model which is definitely "old style". Have they just mis-labeled it?

Thanks for any help you can provide.

    Ron

If this helps, my 1990 model camp 9 has a bolt hold lever that does NOT look like that one.

First, Numrich does not always get the parts right. I bought a stock and a sear that they said was for the Model 9 but was for the Model 922 (22 Magnum "Camp Carbine"). The parts were NOT interchangeable. The picture you have is for the "old" hold open. Here is the "new" hold open:
