powder coat with dissolved powder compound

Has any body tried to powder coat with dissolved powder coat compound in lacquer thiner or acetone? Could not find answer in search.
I tried this today but haven't baked the bullets yet. It looks like a thicker coating on bullets than High Tec coating that I've seen in the videos.
Testing this method before investing in an oven. Will try to melt coating with a heat gun tomorrow.

It works OK but can get messy.
There are several threads about it but here is just one:

Sounds messy. As a general rule I try to avoid anything wet so no solvents etc.

Blessed are the flexible for they shall not be bent out of shape.
