okay I printed it out but it stated "The match is open from now until 31 Aug 2010." I guess the rules are still the same.

My Avatar is my brother John who left me to soon. He was 10 Y/O 1 month older than me. He took me off the Streets of Brooklyn taught me how to handle a rifle and to hunt. For his attention I would always be grateful. Rest in Peace Brother John.

Hey Fom. Wouldn't it be easier if you grabbed a rifle to shoot the paper with? I'm trying to figure out what kind of bullets you can shoot out of a binder.

Oh, Boy! I was going to measure 'group size'.

OK - I got it now.................the size of the group is the measurement from dead center of the target to the center of the farthest hole away from the bullseye.

    Right?

Hey Mods, another clarification needed. I can just imagine with all these "teams", some joker is going to send a target with one 45-70, one 35 Rem, one 338, one 30-30, and one 44 mag. I think all 5 need to be of the same caliber for decent scoring right? Fom

If one target is sent in for team score, will that same target be scored for the individual also?
Or will one target be scored for the team… and then another target shot and scored for the individual?

Re: A question Postal match rules

I shot one group yesterday, at Dads. 50yds open sights. Thought, Thats as good as it get gets for me, when I walked down to it...Got home ,got my calipers out,and thats when I saw only four holes If i put two in the same hole it was better than Ive ever seen. I think I missed the whole target with one round Oddest thing Ive ever seen. It blew my mind.4 a couple inches apart, and the 5th not cutting paper! I know I shot 5 times, had the empty cases. Found out this morning when I went to work at 5am. That the job sight is too wet for big trucks So Im off today, May try it again in a little while.
Guns dont kill people.Dads with pretty Daughters do..
