    Browning 1886 45-70

Been looking at getting a 45-70 rifle. Looked at the Marlins, Winchesters and Browning. Went with Browning. No lawyer inspired safety's. Had this one shipped to my local Cabelas.
Fit and finish is outstanding. Out the door $1643. Put the Brass Stacker sling on.
Still working up a load for it.. IMG_20180703_074520692.jpg

Looks like a nice one. Curious how well it shoots.

Blessed are the flexible for they shall not be bent out of shape.

    That's a real nice 45-70 ! Browning makes a sweet 1886.

There are pre war Winchester 1886s and the Browning EXACT copy. All the rest are junk.

    Chuckerbird,

If yours shoots as well as mine...… you should be very happy with it.

According to the S/N it was made in 1992. I sure like it so far.
I forgot to mention that it came with the original box and paper work too.
