    My first BLR

I just got a new BLR with pistol grip in 7mm-08. I've owned several BARs but never a BLR. It's almost too pretty to hunt with

Great caliber and sweet rifle. Definitely all you would ever need for a rifle IMO. I have a Savage LTW bolt in the same caliber.

I wanted a 308 but my buddy at the gun shop couldn't get one but could get a 7mm-08 and since my son uses one in a tikka and kills deer with it I thought I'd try one

As long as you are not dragging it through thick brush I don't consider any gun too pretty to hunt with. Definitely looking forward to photos!

I've got several bolt actions with synthetic stocks so I prob won't beat this BLR up too bad but I will hunt with it

I've been thinking about a BLR in 358 too but since I don't reload I don't know how easy shells are to get

358 is a great round but sort fixes a problem that doesn't exist. That 7mm-08 will do everything and more and won't bust your shoulder in the doing.
