    1987 blr twist rate help.

Hi guys, I will be picking up a BLR81 .308 on Wednesday, from what I can make out it would be a 1987 .
Does anybody know what the twist rate would be ?
I found on Brownings site that the new ones a 1:12 Would this be the same back in 87?
    thanks for the help.

They went from fn in belgium to miroku of japan to supply the rifles and there were some design improvements.
The old fn mags don’t fit the ‘gold trigger’ jap blrs.
    Don’t know about the ROT?
