All those high fallootin new cartridges for the AR are hog wash un-need B.S. Get an AR-10 in .308 and be done with it. They are all useless.JMHO

    A 150grn 30 cal bullet at 2250fps and a 130grn bullet at 2500fps in a light carbine as useless as a 30-30.

I will stay with my 35 Rems. I have seen the Ruger rifle and factory ammo in person. The factory load has proprietary bullets--these are NOT pistol bullets that would not perform well on game at 2000-2100 FPS. I wouldn't even consider this loading until components come out onto the market. This article has the author resizing some .358 inch bullets to provide more offerings besides the factory fodder: https://www.realguns.com/articles/1111.htm

With the 180 gr XTP's, are the bullets failing to feed from magazine or are they not allowing the bolt to close?
