Old school hand cannon on it's way.

    Should be here this week.

Can't wait to get my hands on this beast.

Uberti Dragoon C&B .44 Old West finish like new "old" in the box.

I believe these were made for a short time around 2005 some sort of acid finish was used but I'm not sure.

I had a Uberti Dragoon a few years ago with the fancy blued finish and sold it and as usual I wish I would have kept it,I kept all the loading goodies and powder so I'm all set when this shows up.

They are a hoot to shoot!

Gotta love the Old West finish definitely like the finish better then the pretty blued Dragoon's this is more my speed,

now I have to find a holster and let it sit outside in the weather for about a 6 months

People say money can't buy happiness But it can buy me a Marlin and ammo to shoot in it, dies, powder bullets...

I used to fool around in the backyard with my wife's grandpa with blackpowder pistols. He liked to drink beer and fool around just like a kid with a new cap gun. We would load them up with a reduced load and use corks as boolits. Shoot empty beer cans with it. He liked to hear the bang and the puff of smoke---he liked the smell of burnt powder. It was a lot of fun. I missed doing that after he passed.

Looks great. Big BP handguns are brilliant to fire. Biggest I fired was an old Adams, 8" barrel, 38 bore, thats .5" to you. Soft recoil, clouds of smoke and big holes. Excellent.

Had a job a year back to check out an original Dragoon for a guy. I inspected it for a good 20 seconds before seeing it was fake. Shame.

Man I really like that gun. Recently we have been taking our bp revolvers out and shooting about every week. I am partial to 36 calibers but have some 44 calibers. I have to look around for one of those...
