That's normally a mama cat and her nearly grown offspring, when a group is seen together.

    Pretty cool.

Had one right on the edge of my small lawn hunkered down by a bush staring at me through my living room window. Another time one crept up on me while i was doing yard work. Damn things. Heres a breeding pair behind my house. Kind of a cool video cause you can hear turkeys gobbling in the background.

We've seen them occassionally on our place, but only rarely, and never more than 1 at a time--always near the back edge of our property. Can't say I'd like to have 5 of them in my driveway, although moose, elk, and deer are commonly leaving track in the snow right up next to the house and all over the driveway this time of year.

You guys have hound hunting which helps. Washington state is like a sanctuary state for predators. Swear i have more lions than deer using my property. You in unit 1?

CA is a sanctuary state for predators of the two legged kind, aka as illegals, er... undocumented immigrants.

Saw the OP's video on the local news. Every year we see more lions in the foothills, sleeping on porches and marking decks with their poo. A friends deck was marked a few years back and animal control trapped it and relocated the lion.

In certain areas it's best not to let your dog or cat out at night.

    Exclamation

That is precisely why no one should ever go into the "wild" unarmed. The Lefties and Animal Rights people can kiss my........if they don't like it. The PA Game Commission said that we don't have any mountain lions in PA anymore, but a couple I know that lives outside one of our state forests have a picture of a full grown mountain lion that they took a few years ago close to the end of their property. They are rare because they were shot on sight during the 19th century to the point of extinction. Obviously, some of them survived.

Black Bears are a much bigger problem where I live. The Game Commission estimates PA has approximately 20,000 Black Bears, and thats AFTER Bear season. The Game Commission added more days to Bear Hunting season to thin out the numbers.

Always carry a firearm, and have a backup, like a 6" hunting knife.

    Can't be too careful.
