    Anyone else?

No, those two haven't been in my back yard... I'd have noticed.

Between our three lap dogs, a black ninja rescue kitty, and the resident roadrunners, we never see deer in our backyard.

'Course, the lack of water and trees in the central New Mexico high desert may have something to do with that, maybe? Who knows? Still - nah, haven't seen 'em.

When the acorns start falling the deer set off my drive way alarm. I ease outside and spotlight "em".........They give me that "deer in the headlights look!

Between the three dogs and a huge empty field behind the house! Nope!

    Not even a cochon!

I saw a fair little “muley” about 100 feet outside the yard about a week ago. Just a 3x3, about 22” wide and about the same in height. Not a “shooter”with a rifle, but with bow or handgun.....yep! memtb

That reminds me of a couple years back.
One Sun. evening hunting with one of the Marlins I let this small 4 point walk right under my stand.
The very next Sat. the same or a very close second, walked within 25 yds. of me and I shot him with a 44 Ruger Vaquero.

We see them mostly in the front yard sometimes in the backyard. We see them at all times of the day and night. Most times it is does, some with fawns some without. We see bucks every so often but they are a lot more sneaky then the does. One time there was a mama nursing her fawn in my wifes flower garden.

I've got deer and turkey running around my back yard, until the dogs decide to wake up anyway
