    2020 Queensland Ssaa lever action

    Next years Ssaa Queensland Lever action state titles are to be held at Warwick range, 1st weekend in September. Practice Friday, comp Saturday & Sunday, camping at range. Must be Ssaa member to compete, 35rounds classic caliber (iron sights), 50rounds open (peep sights).
    Any QUEENSLANDER wanting to stop us cockroaches stealing all your gold should turn up and have a go or we'll be taking all your medals south

    30-30 with a williams sight for the open (Blr's in 222/223 with Anschutz sights are a popular choice for those more competitive than me)
    45-70 for the classic with a marbles flat top sight ( 30-30xlr is a popular choice along with the 218bee)
    5x shots per target, 5min to 10sec time frames, 100, 50 & 25 mtr, prone with post support to free standing positions.

    Have plenty to choose from to trial in the comps.

    Actually they drop down either side of the receiver giving a perfect sight picture!
    But I can't see the sights anyway (I'll blame my eyes not the local Bundy rum the night before) that's why I use the 45-70
