What Marlins have you bought lately?

Thought I would start a new thread where Aussie and Kiwi members can talk about what Marlins they have bought recently.
For me I ordered a new Octagonal Barrel 45 Colt yesterday and bought an old 38-40 from a mate today. The 38-40 needs a new mainspring so I will need to order one of them or have a play in the workshop and make one.
So what have you blokes bought recently?

I had a bloke offer me a beater model 92. Rifling was non existent and a fair bit of pitting on the barrel and magazine. BUT the timber is great with matching numbers so I had it re lined and it shoots like a brand new rifle. Bit of a rat rod.

Just the two that I bought recently.... My 2018 1895 45-70 that I bought used from a dealer in Bairnsdale and my JM stamped 1978 336 30-30 that I bought used from a dealer in Geelong. I removed the scope of the 1895 and put a set of XS Ghost Rings which I really like so I think i'll get a set for the 30-30. I think i'll let it cool down for a bit otherwise Licensing will have a fit, there was a 1920's 39A on usedguns recently i was umming and ahhing about but decided not to so might look in to one in the future.

In my state you need a "genuine reason" for each purchase so there are plenty of "genuine reasons" to add a 22 to a collection of 2 centerfires and I think a 1920 vintage marlin 22 leaver would be great - 1920 seems old thought for a 39a - when did model 1897 finish and 39a start - wikicyclopedia says 1921 but happy for an expert to chime in?

I am no expert but I believe in 1921 it became the model 39.

I'm no expert either, but would think that the model 39 would have come about IN 1939?

Model 39 came out in 1921, Model 39A came out in 1939.
