Curan's hint for tired eyes when adjusting Williams reciever sights

My eyes aren't as good as they were, and I got sick of screwing around with my sight settings when shooting silhouettes.

So I made these ...... Setting gauges .......

    Gauges.JPG

And they work like this .......

    in use.JPG

Super quick and super easy. Saves fussing on the line.

And if you want them for hunting, you just make them in the zero ranges you want, 100, 150, 200.

But they are only accurate for the ammo they were made for ........ which is fine if you stick to the same stuff.

Excellent idea. I do that stuff because I can't remember squat and am lazy. You on the other hand are resourceful and ingenious.

I will get around to make a set one day, great idea.
A few fellas I shoot with have similar gauges, but not as well sorted as yours.
While it might not apply to knocking over steel, on paper you still have to dial in specifically for the rifle range you're visiting on the day, as all are different due to orientation and weather peculiarities - but definitely a quick way to get on target, good work.
