    Children or Men??

Some of you may not like what I'm about to say, others may agree.
All I know is that it's troubling me and this is MY opinion.

Upon my return, I find that things have not been going so well
elsewhere on this board. As you read this you'll know exactly what
and who I'm talking about, if you don't already know. I'm not
sure how it got started, but that doesn't matter.

The main purpose of this board was to have a place to come and
share information regarding guns and ammo, to share experiences
and even some tall tales; there's a place to share recipes whether
it's wild game or not and even to shoot the breeze and tell a few jokes
or receive advice from Annabelle. It's also been a place where if there
were a problem or sickness in your family, you
could get lots of prayers and support here.

Now, it seems that we're losing all that just because someone
started the 'mine's better' game like we played as children; you
know...my dad's bigger than your dad OR my bike's better than
your bike, etc. The bottom line is that different people prefer
different guns and ammo and what works best for one may not
be the best for someone else. It's sad that mature? adults
would part friendships over this and even get into a pissin'
match anyway! Then, I guess Jayco got fed up and his whole
forum has been deleted. You people lost a wealth of knowledge
in that one forum alone, not to mention the vast amount of
advice and knowledge that you're at risk to lose if this board
    were to shutdown.

I sincerely hope that pride and tempers can be put aside and
everyone act like adults. Nobody on here is any better than
anybody else; we all, even us women folk ops: ,
put our pants on the same as everybody else as the saying goes.

Anna, you know I love ya, but this situation is the sort of thing that men can't tolerate, this sort of public pissing down one's back, and can't be tolerated, but corrected.....I'm sorry...I know this brings you and everyone great grief but there is principle at stake here.... Blaine

    Children or Men??

Wow, I heard Jayco's trailer got locked but I didn't hear it got deleted --- I am still catching up on new posts this morning.

It is sad, and it seems to remain a stagnant argument that isn't making any progress towards resolution.

I did notice they changed the "Gentleperson's Lounge" to just "The Lounge." I liked the previous title better; it reminds all of us to go in there to have discussion and to do all our pissin' in the toilet . . . . I wanted the rules to remain the same there even if women are allowed to have a peek in the door now

Still lookin' around and planning on not sticking MY gun-less nose anywhere it doesn't belong

    Oh -- and --- I A G R E E, Anna ~!

There isn't anyplace on this board where anyone should be made to
feel that they can't at least have a look around.

I like being able to see how gentle and on point this post is. Thoughtful, kind, and well worth reading again.
