    Marlin 450 spotted at LGS

Just a heads up if anyone's looking for a Marlin 450 there's one at Reynolds Outdoors in Opelika, Al. Please ask for Donald on this as he's a friend that gave me the heads up on it. I have no dog in this hunt and just wanted to post it here for my Marlin friends.

I went and had a look... The barrel says it is an 1895MR which were made 2003-2004... The serial # is 00, which is 2000. But we all know Marlin never threw anything away...

Anyway... 22" barrel, short mag tube, end cap fore arm. The rifle is in great shape. A solid 95%, probably very close to 98%... Checkered wood and factory recoil pad...

And now I hang my head in shame, I left the camera sitting on the kitchen counter. If I get back up that way today I will stop in for pics... Camera is already in the car...

Well I never....that's like going to hunt and leaving gun at home. Is it pistol grip or straight stock.

Yeah, I know... Had the camera charged up and ready to go... Even worse though, I left my coffee sitting next to it...

    It is a pistol grip...

If it were the straight stock I would have stopped by there and it would be mine.

that's a real good price... the MR I believe is the shorter run version ... if I hadn't just bought a 308mxlr and a 1951 peanut I'd be on it..
