    45-70 Plinker Grade Cast Bullets

So the rather high price of premium gas check bullets from all the bigger cast bullet makers has me looking at some smaller companies products. I'm a bit surprised the forum doesn't have a directory of bullet vendors but maybe I just haven't found it yet. I would love to hear where other members have bought cheap-ish cast bullets !

    I’ve shot

    Dardas
    Missouri
    Laser-Cast
    Hunter Supply

Not plinkers but I’ll have some GT bullets by next year, they’re calling to me.

300’s and 405’s. When I ordered mine they didn’t offer the coated bullets, if they would have I would have definitely got the coated bullets.

Not everyone can do it but casting your own is always an option. In the long run it is the cheapest too. Over the years I have sold off a bunch of hard cast bullets here and everyone seemed to like 'em as much as I do. I see similar ads all the time on the Cast Boolits trading post area so might be worth checking out too.

I've been advised to stay with .459 inch and up for these for better accuracy. Unfortunately many are smaller .458 which I'm less inclined to try. I really just don't have the time now to set up for casting....

These are about the least expensive cast bullets you can find. Gardner's Cache. GARDNERS CACHE'

    I've been pleased with them.
