    Not really sure what I was thinking...

    Just keeping my options open I guess. Or maybe the options of the next owner.
    Stumbled on to a walnut stock, so then I needed to locate a forearm, right?

    Not sure what the problem is. Now it is like you have two rifles. You can just change the wood depending on how you feel that day when you wake up.

    I'd take the walnut stock over the laminated stock, any day.

    Now you have the best of both worlds. A work stock and forearm and a Sunday go to meeting stock and forearm.

    I like the laminate wood. But I much prefer the dark walnut.
