1895GS to Personalized to Pistol Grip

I picked up a Marlin 1895GS earlier in the year and, like many of us, decide to do a little personalizing. I've got a few straight stock guns, but have always felt more comfortable shooting a pistol grip stock. Decided to spend a few months watching for parts and doing some playing. Here is the where it's currently at. (I'd say the final results but who knows)

I've still got all the original parts and can and might swap them back and forth depending on the mood.

Good job, that pistol grip stock looks great with the short barrel, and the wood matches the fore end like it came from the same tree! Thanks for posting the photos.

Thanks for the pics. I too like the pistol grip over the straight stock versions for too reasons, looks and recoil elimanation. The loop looks perfect. A very nice weapon for sure. Makes me want a 45-70 just like it.
