    a project finally finished!

Many years ago I Bought a 444 marlin on a No4Mk1 through Kingaroy firearms, but it was minus a magazine. I gave it to TSE, which made a Frankenstein mag, based on a Polymer Howa Mag, which worked, but finally I found a possible solution through Wattle Grove Gunshop. My research had indicated the rifle I had was made by Navy Arms in the US and was converted to 444 Marlin. But the mags were as rare as Rocking Horse {BAN ME}.

This week I found a mag, and it fits, and it looks normal, and it feeds, and I’m happy

Hey Chrispy. Any bullets give you trouble?

I am yet to make a set of short dies for the hornady brass, but the only projectiles to give me grief have been the hornady XTP’s

A long awaited update, I located and purchased a Navy Arms 444/45-70 mag to suit my No4mk1. Now it looks the part, feeds and functions perfectly. Am more than super happy!

Hey Chrispy, how's it going? I seen that magazine on the gun site and your project came to mind. Congrats on getting it going. Pics?
