1 in 20" for Ballard. 1 in 38" for microgroove. If memory serves...

I think Ballard’s were late 90’s and later, it should say micro groove on it? If so Scorp is correct. 1 in 38.

Yes, 1 in 38. All microgroove 444 are 1/38. The ballards don't say microgroove and have stars roll marked into the barrel either side of the model and caliber marks.

1:38" unless the barrel was changed.

"Ballard" rifling and the 1:20" twist didn't come into play until '98.
Give me your tired, your poor,
Your rusted masses yearning to live again,
The wretched refuse of your humid closet.
    Send me the partless, broken-stocked,
The Marlins in need of new life...

Why is twist rate a issue?

Their are only two kinds of people, those who own a 444 and those who wish they owned one, and yes folks, denial is bliss!

Not much has really changed in the world in 2000 years, Christians are still being thrown to the Lions! and Satan's tool of Deception is still working like a charm, from the time of Adam and Eve, to today!
