The screw is out, the soldering gun trick worked. The screw turned like it was threaded in butter. I never had a reason to remove the front sights on any of my Marlins. I thought once I got the screw out the sight would be in a grove and I could tap it out. I cannot get it to budge, if I had a picture of how it is in place that would help. Does anyone have a drawing or picture they can post.
It looks like a homemade job, but interesting no less, be careful you may find a lot of after engineering in this!
Good luck with the cancer, God bless and Gods speed eradicating it!
Their are only two kinds of people, those who own a 444 and those who wish they owned one, and yes folks, denial is bliss!
Not much has really changed in the world in 2000 years, Christians are still being thrown to the Lions! and Satan's tool of Deception is still working like a charm, from the time of Adam and Eve, to today!

Yes just like mine.
Velocity is thrilling, but diameter does the real killing.
