Another vote for 40 grains of LVR. Been an accurate and deadly load in several Marlins for me and my family.

I couldn't get the accuracy I felt was possible out of my mid 80's 35 Rem with RN bullets. I spent over a year and hundreds of rounds and wound up trying the FTX Hornady's and man do they shoot! On the target is the load data I used. It was 50 yds open sights and I have shot at 100yds and held a .860 group.

Any issues or concerns in re-using the brass from Hornady's FTX bullets?

Anyone using a heavy-for-caliber cast boolit in their Marlin .35s? Talking 210-240 grains or more.

Remington 14 with 22” barrel, 44.5 grains of LVR and Hornady FTX bullet, 2318 FPS and 3 shot, 1.5” groups at 50 yards with original sights. Don’t want to shoot too many from the bench. Have dropped back to 42.0 grains with equal accuracy.
