    Glenfield Model 30A

Took some quick pics, the lighting is not the best, I will say this rascal is in damn good shape for being as old as it is. Have yet to really inspect it or shoot it, I think it was a closet queen and the owner passed, leaving this piece to wind up in the hands of someone that didn't want it. The white on the end of the barrel is residue from a sticker, cycles very smooth, of course pre-hammer block, and according to Brophys book a 1st variation. Oh I bought it yesterday, thinking next week, give it a run down

Thanks, it's in great shape. I really hate when you walk into a place and something like this calls out to you.

That is my second favorite Marlin carbine configuration---just behind the SC model. Great pick-up!
