    Same here! I have killed 4 antelope with archery equipment, why not an open sight rifle. I normally use a 270 or 243 but got the Marlin bug this past summer. It was a lot of fun (and satisfaction) after all the practice we put in this summer.

    The 336 is not the usual antelope rifle. Good times sure to be had with iron sights- what was the distance?

    It was only about 80-90 yards I'm guessing. Not far at all,
