    1963 336A Monte Carlo stock

I recently purchased this rifle and it shoulders VERY well. I've only ever seen the Monte Carlo stock on the early 444's. When did the 336 come with it? Obviously 1963 but any other years? Thanks

The 336DL and 336SD models came with a Bishop made fancy monte carlo stock roughly between 1957-1962 or so. I am guessing that you might have one of the fancy Deluxe models with the Bishop stock. Pics would be nice so that assumption could be verified.

The 336 A DL also came with a scope. This one is one of my favorites, a 1960 in 35rem. It has the fanciest wood of any Marlin I have or have had. Would love to find ones in 32W and 30-30 to have the set, but for now I am comfy with this one.

24" barrel. I have a 455 with a Bishop stock and the 336 is not that fancy at all.

I have a 1958 30-30 336 deluxe Sporting Carbine that has the Bishop-Style Monte Carlo stock. Here are a couple of cell phone pictures.
