Scarcity of .35 Rem. reloading components.

I have been browsing on-line, trying to find brass, bullets, and dies for my .35. Can't seem to find one dealer who has all the goods. I would like to use Remington brass and start with 180 grain Speer FP's. Cabelas has the brass but no Speer bullets and no bulk 200 grain Rem. CL.

Went by Sportsman's Warehouse today. RCBS dies in stock, Speers in stock, and no .35 brass.

Does anyone know of a one source shopping spot?

    Thanks,

I havent looked at the price of bullets in a while  .

Remington corlokt up to 27.99 per 100, they were 12.99 per 100 when I started reloading only a few years ago.

Whats unreal is that I can get 405 gr. 45 cal bullets for cheaper than I can get 35 cal bullets. Looks like I will be shooting my 45-70 more this year.

I had the 200 grain Cor-Lokt's in my Midway shopping cart in December. They were out of stock at 20.99 through the end of the year, but on Jan 1, they were all of a sudden in stock at 27.99.

I'm going to think about my Midway ordering for a while. Something about that just looked fishy...

I just got in 200 rounds of the Remington brass from Cabela's last week. I need bullets and dies now. I have a while to watch the prices.

Midway usa has Winchester brass and Rem and Speer bullets. Shoot some factory loads for brass, you will be amazed how fast they add up. The Remington factory loads are real good rounds.

Exactly. My eyes aren't that good, but my first two 3-shot groups off a wobbly picnic table at 100 yards with open sights were MOA. I love Remington bullets, and their factory ammo is the best I've ever shot.

There is not a lot of 35 Rem brass around. I've gotten a couple of bags of Winchester from Midway, but they haven't listed it on line in a few months. I got a bag of 100 Remington cases from the new CT Cabelas last Saturday for $34 - good price - and they had a couple more bags. I had never seen Remington brass in 35 before. I've got plenty of bullets for now, but then I shoot 158 gr .357's for practice and those are always available.

Winchester makes limited, "seasonal runs" of .35 Remington brass. Stay on top of the large distributors to see when they stock the bags of new brass.

The price for the 200 Core-Lokt is a shock. I'd hang on for a few months and check the Midway site online frequently. This is so high that I'm sure they'll have a reduction in price in one of their sale flyers. This bullet goes "on sale" in their flyer at least twice a year.

Thank goodness I laid in a supply, and have over 1400 now. At that time they were around 12 dollars a hundred. That was about 3-4 years ago.

    Can't have too many Core-Lokts.
