    Boyd's laminate stocks

I'm really wanting a lamiante stock for my 336D and looks like Boyd's is the only one having them available. I've gotten thier stocks for my 10//2 with good results just curious if anyone here's used them for their Marlin stocks. I'm thinking proberly the black/brown lamainte.

    Boyd's laminate stocks

In this picture of 444's the bottom one is an outfitter that the stock was damaged and I found a laminate straight stock on ebay, fits well and I like the look. Might keep a lookout there.

Hey SureShot, do you know who made that stock you got of ebay? It does look nice in the picture.

    Boyd's laminate stocks

Tried to find it but apperantly had it long enough that it dropped off my buyer list.

    Boyd's laminate stocks

Thanks anyways, there are many, many things on my list of wants with my 336 prior to a new stock. In fact a new Marlin in .450 or 308 is ahead of a stock replacement on the 336. Just always nice to book mark the things you like so you can go back to them when needed.

rgc, I am pretty sure you can get lam. wood from Brockman's custom guns they even have one with an ammo holder inside the butt. I tried there web site but I think it is down right now but when you get a min. just do a search under Brockman's gun and that will get you there. Hope this helps.

    Boyd's laminate stocks

Thanks, I have often looked at the Brockman site (before they went to upgrade it and have not brought it back on line). I do like that cartridge trap in the stock. Have a friend who has one and says it is very handy for reloads. That said, Brockman is high quality and high dollar stuff, I could and would get another Marlin rifle before I got one of his stocks. Thanks though for the sugestion and if your looking at replacement stocks other then wood you might want to check out wilddogusa.com they should have a 336 injection molded stock coming out sometime soon.
