JK622, how long was the turnaround time, from when JES received it until you got it back?

For me it was about 10 days from door to door total. May be longer a bit longer now as I've seen more keen interest on Marlin Owners lately.

JES rebores are my favorite rifles, I know you are going to enjoy this one. I have two in the 38-55/375 but I have a Glendfield (Trail Rider) that I think would be great wearing the JES 38-55/375 name. His work and turn around time is top of the line.
I have done so much, with so little, for so long, I can do anything with nothing.

Turnaround time on mine was just under 3 weeks but travel time from Texas to Oregon was a week each way. My other 2 were about 2 weeks each. M700, of course you know you could buy another Marlin/ Glenfield 30-30 for about $300 or less and send it to Jesse- just tryin' to help! I plan on gettin' to the range tomorrow with the first few loads. Will report...

Made it to the range today with the Glenfield/JES rebore. I shot six 3-shot groups at 100yds. with a 3-9 scope. I used Starline 375 Win. brass, Winchester LR primers, Sierra 200gr. JFP bullets, and increasing charges of H-4198. Most groups were 2-2.5" but 1 was 1.5". According to the manual that one should be about 2400fps and should be a good hog load. I'll eventually try some more bullet/powder combinations and I think group sizes will shrink with more bullets down the barrel. Jesse does good work!

My turn around time was less than two weeks, and that was over the Thanksgiving holiday.

Thanks for the range report! My JES rebore likes those Sierra 200's and H4198 in Starline 375 brass.

I'm too old and wore out to shoot anything that starts with a 5!
