My 1894 with my Dan Wesson model 15-2V

I bought my 1894 in .357 magnum partly because it's almost an exact match of my model 39M Golden Boy my dad gave me when I was a kid, but the other reason is that I love the idea of a fine, .357 magnum revolver & lever-action rifle combination that take the same ammunition. It was a great idea in the 19th century and it's a great idea today. Here's a pic of both and I absolutely love these guns!

It's hard to beat a good lever gun/revolver combo. IMHO it was good back then and still a top choice for a SHTF scenario today.

    Nice set, fantastic match.
I have one in .357, and the 18” barrel is a fantastic length for PC carbines. Wish Henry would make theirs in 18 and not 16”.

Anybody else here wear their revolver on their left hip...so that it does not collide with the lever gun stock when it is slung around your right shoulder? I'm a right hander, but I've forced myself to become accustomed to wearing handguns on my left hip all the time...in case I ever need to carry both.

I've thought about getting a cross-draw holster for that purpose.

No, mainly because I shot her while she was stalking my giant, 7lb attack dog, and this is what happens when you mess with Daddy's baby!

Yeah, like I said, I don't normally tote around a lever gun and revolver at the same time when I'm doing the town, but I do plan on carrying the two at some point, so I'd like to get accustomed to carrying my wheelgun on my left hip. I think the two guns would bonk together if I carried both on my right side.

I carry a lever and revolver together some time's. I'm lefty so I have a El Paso cross drawer holster. The rifle butt on my left. Revolver on right.
I've been toting my Blackhawk 44 spl. with my 1894 Marlin 44 mag.
