    Cleaned the Garden

Well, sat 'in the garden' and 'cleaned' my 1894c this afternoon. Sat in the sun (Funny what that did to the bottle of locktite, kinda expanded) stripped her down completely (Almost), cleaned and lubed every part and reassemble.

All good, accept I noticed the aftermarket lifter has started to gain a crease where the snail cam hits. Its not enough to be a problem, but I will keep an eye on it. Disappointing as first, I thought the aftermarket lifter was tougher steel and would resist better and second, I did ease off the sharp edge on the cam with a small file.

I would have posted a picture but see, the gardens a mess.

It finally quit snowing here, went to 60 today. When I uncovered the hot peppers, there were three shriveled plants, all Caribbeans. Those tropical varieties just don't like the cool temps. Went to the Greenhouse at Walmart and bought three new Dragon Cayenne plants. Had a ceremony and pulled the shrivels. RIP. Planted the Dragons.

    Life goes on.

If you don't have a garden how you gonna attract targets?

I use to plant a big garden, get ground all disked up .
Get all my plants started in the green house. Put my plants
Out, drag the hose out to water everything, watch the plant's for bugs eating the plans. Put the fence up around
The garden to keep the critters out.
    Then weeding the garden.
Then one day i discovered that just down the road about 4 miles is a grocery store that sells all the stuff all ready to eat.

I planted cherry tomatoes today. Going into town tomorrow to search the greenhouses for more. Full size tomatoes don't like the weather at my house, they just don't do very well. I'm betting we're not going to have any more snowfall. All plants looking dark green and healthy. I'm hoping we're not going to have anymore snowfall.

Maybe it will quit snowing and warm up this year.
