If you have that much time on your hands, to do all that gardening work, then you need to by more guns to shoot and work on, and reload for.
You should be plum wore out from hauling all those ammo cans and rifles to the range and spotting scope.
That you shouldn't have enuff energy left for gardening.

The ice killed off my creeping flox in the rock garden. Need to go find some more and install it.

Of course, they were driving to your garden in the Ken and Barbie Power Wheels Jeep - Last weekend was Go Topless Jeep Weekend, right?

I dont like gardening. I will rebuild your engine, bike, car or truck. I will fix your rifle, bolt, semi, pump or full. I will fix your handgun, jams, misfeeds and timing etc. I will even paint your house, mostly better than so called pros. That and so much more I will enjoy doing. Not gardening. You work hard for three hours, go have a cuppa tea and a biscuit (cookie) and when you return, its grown back. Whats the point?

Gardening is not my favorite activity, but I like to eat fresh veggies with my wild game meals. Put it in today. It definitely is much more fun getting meat for the table than growing vegetables.

My gardening has been narrowed down in the last 3-4 years to a bunch of big pots. I have to have my fresh Tabasco, jalapeno and cayenne chile peppers, along with cherry tomatoes and okra .... and rosemary ... maybe some other stuff. Over the years I've found out my "soil" just isn't much fun to deal with, and I don't really want to dedicate the time to make it work anymore. Yep, there's a grocery store down the road that ends up being a whole lot cheaper in the long run.

Besides, it gives me more time to do the necessary gun cleaning in the air conditioning

Plus when those veggies are ready, just swing by a couple

Foods great. I know people who owe their lives to eating food.
