    Cool Finally FIXED!

I finally fixed my cycling issue or should I say chambering issue. After trying this and that from replacing the extractor, polishing, lubing, and yes a whole lot of bad words she's running like a champ and maybe better than new.
When I purchased my 1894 44 mag it was "supposed" to have less than 50 rounds shot through it. From what I saw during this whole exercise is I'd venture to say it's probably has more like a 1000+ down it. I say this as I replaced the carrier today. Wow what a difference. Smooth and I can cycle the action without having to slam the lever home. I've provided some pics of the carriers to show the differences and wear on the old one. Pics are pretty decent sized also.
I got the carrier from Midway USA in case anyone is wondering.

Nice looking rifle. Glad, it is working. It may be an improved design as well. At any rate, happy shooting!

Thanks everyone. I was nearly to the point of selling it. It can be frustrating when something wrong with a firearm and nothing you try seems to fix the problem. Really hoping to get out tomorrow or Sunday but the weather may have other ideas. Just can't buy a break sometimes.

That's good that it turned out OK. Save the old carrier, they can be cold bent, tweaked a little into shape and work perfectly. Always nice to have extras in the tool kit.
