...been lurking around with only a few posts for a couple of months. Have a 1895SS with Lever's Leather and an 1894S, looking for a 336 in 35 Rem. Lots of good info here, I'll stick around. Too bad this is shotgun only deer country right now!

Welcome from NY. We have to use a shotgun where I live, however we can use our Marlins in the southern tesr of NY plus up in the Adirondacks. I do most of my hunting in Pa. 444

Welcome. Agree with you. LOTS of good info here. Live north of you a bit. Have been in shotgun area all my life but this year (another week) get to use rifle. Itching to shoot something with 308 mxlr but my daughter likes the gun to much so guess i will be using the 30-30. Which I dont mind seeing I havn't shot anything with that either except paper. Good luck next week!!!

Howdy Wisconsin, I'm in South Florida. This is my first post and I'm looking forward to gettin together with my fellow Marlin Owners! I'm glad we have a forum to talk in and read. I figured I've been firing one for so long it's time I get some knowledge from fellow Lovers of the Lever-Action!

Hello from a fellow WI hunter. Live and hunt around Appleton. I have three Marlins and hunt deer in rifle counties west of here. Will be using my 45/70 XLR come this Saturday. You can go coyote hunting with your rifle down by you. I spoke with the DNR and it is legal to use a rifle for coyote hunting outside of gun seasons for deer in all counties except two around Milwaukee. Other than the gun season for deer you are legal to use a rifle for coyote hunting.
Welcome aboard.

Howdy, Kinda New. LOL I was just at a gun show in S. Florida where I live. I saw a 336 35 and a 30-30, both 98% perfect, I bought the 30-30 but had my eye on that 35. I have a Marlin 30-30 already that was billed as a 336T, the only differance is that the 336C has a pistol grip wher the 336T has a straight Butt stock.
