Is it my imagination or is there a rash of feeding problems with the newer Marlin 39A's?

I bought mine way back in the 70's along with several friends.  Our rifles are tack driving & never malfunctioning beauties.  All of my old friends still proudly have theirs.  My 39A is so accurate with SV ammo that I've never been tempted to buy an Anschutz or equivalent rifle.

Ya mean 39AS as with safety and rebound hammer and stamped steel extractor.

Nah they are easy to tweak into submission and make a regular 39A out of them.  Grin
