Nice looking gun, but I'm not into the straight stocks, and I don't think I like that high comb.  I do like the longer barrel than on my 444SS.  Should be a good buy for someone.

This rifle's been on GB for a couple weeks maybe a month now . He originally had his reserve set at $550 . Now I think he;s dropped it to $499 .

 Last week he had it listed as a "444T" that was made in 1965 !
And there is no such bird ! The ONLY rifles made with the "444T" rollstamp that I know of were made in 1971 and the one from 1972 that Ranch Dog has . So I asked him if it was stamped on the barrel and he retracted that bit of information from his description .

I already have a pair of 1965 rifles so I wasn't all that intrested in this one for $499 !
