I need a side scope mount for my Marlin Model 100 .22 Single Shot

Hi,
I'm new to the site. My 9 year old daughter wants to learn to shoot. I have a Marlin Model 100 single shot .22 that I want to mount a scope on. The left side of the receiver has 4 drilled and tapped holes. Where can I buy a scope mount that will fit?
I would really appreciate any help.
Thanks in advance.

Welcome to MO,lots of folks here like to help a youngster get started.
Sounds like an old N-type Weaver 3/4 base, they'r on Ebay a lot.Finding one with the right hole pattern shouldn't be too hard.
Post the distance between the holes here,Somebody might have one

N2 mount is low not able to use iron sights. I would find one of these, they usually are 3/4 inch mounts and you will have to find a 3/4 scope the Weaver V22 is 3/4
N3 mount is high able to see your iron sights.
If you have the room on top you can get a mount that is round on the bottom and JB Weld it to the receiver easily removed later with heat if wanted. I have done this on several older .22s you may have to cut out part of the mount or use a two piece.

I have a N2 Weaver Scope mount with screws. $20.00 shipped if it would work for you.

mar39d,
Thanks for the reply. Can you post a picture of the N2 mount. I'd like to see it to determine if it might fit.
Thanks again

I don't have any way to post a picture but if you send me your address I will send the mount to you. If it works, you can send the payment, if not, send it back. I have a Tom Mix 100 and it looks like it would fit on it.
