Greetings all, new guy here, and a new lever guy, to boot. Thought that an 1894 in .357 would be nice to own, and like others, I really liked the stainless version. I've seen others mention The Gun Source in WI, and since they do business with my local Bass Pro that does transfers for me, I placed an order notwithstanding the "backordered" status.
Guess I'm posting to say the it was not backordered very long, was delivered to Bass Pro not much more than a couple of weeks later, a decent price on the rifle (has gone up about $20 since then, though), and reasonable shipping costs. Very nice gun, looking forward to getting it to the range, have been enjoying the forum, rgds, Steve g.
