Anyone using reloader 7?  I picked up 4 pounds at $16/# today.

Does anyone have any good starting loads and max loads they can share?

Thanks,

It's my powder of choice. I've been using Lee scoops. I started off with 3.1 cc at 42.6 grains my max so far is 3.4cc at 46.7 grains.
I really like reloader 7 and 10x for the 45-70. Thats with the bullet you're describing.

Thanks.  I was hoping someone might have a favorite load.

For $16/# I figured I couldn't go wrong.

WOW that's a good price. The best I've been able to do is about $20.00 per lb.

It is a going out of business sale. Sad  I walked in looking for WW296 and found out they are going out of business.  Out of 296 but loaded with RX7.

The owner of the shop is in poor health and closing.  Sad

Fellas, 45 grains Rx7 was my best load for accuracy.

They chronoed at 1880fps. Cool

I have a begining load of 35 gr r-7 and 350 gr Ranch dog boolit which is Gas checked and poured from nearly straight WW with little to no extra tin. No leading and shoots well. Been checking the RD site for different loads which to try. Have gone up to max loads with R-7 and jacketed Rem 405gr. Those are no fun at all. After seeing a deer nailed with a 44 mag rd load at 1200ft, I have no doubt a trap door load is enough.
