I really like the striping on the stock.  Share with us how you did it!  I'd like to know how you accomplished that look because it's terrific!

good write-up 671. I've read posts on other forums that cast slugs don't shoot well from the Camp and this is my experience also - reason, the Microgroove rifleing. Marlin made some levers with Ballard-type (cut) rifleing to solve this.
I have read at castboolits that MicroGroove barrels can be made to shoot cast well by useing an oversize slug - available from some makers - to load but I haven't tryed yet.

Good shooting.  On other forums, they aren't informed as we are.  Microgroove rifle barrels will shoot cast just fine.  Its all in the measuring of the barrels themselves.  Most need to be shot oversized.  I'm not familiar with the chamber dimensions of your rifle, but I'm nearly sure it could be made to shoot cast accurately.

Thank you for sharing the pictures. It's a shame that Marlin quit making them.

A Marlin camp 9 was the first carbine, actually, gun of any sort my wife bought all on her own.

I was pretty proud of her. She's gonna love this tiger striped version.
