I think this is great. i love seeing all these kids shooting and hunting.
I started them young like many of you have.
Back in the late 80's

my first turkey, you guessed it my boys were with me on the hunt. Saw it happen.

Gopher hunting in the early 90's

As you can see my youngest is a playful guy! Grin Grin Grin
I'll post more every day. lets keep it going.

You guys know how to make a fellar tear up. You see I'm an ol'lonewolf, long in the toothe harmless as can be. Had the privilege to watch the kids at church grow up even was a bit of an influence. Watch one as he shipped out to Iraq, my heart was in my throat more than once when the news would report causalities. Keep them coming, good to see young people taking up the torch.  Thanks Guys:   Grin Duce:

I remember that last one, Ken.  Look at those proud little mugs!

His first shot EVER, age three................

With the (then) newly-scouted 44..........

Shooting my old duty gun, double-action, the way I taught him.  Those jars of ammo are gone in about five minutes!

With the 30-30 he somehow believes is "his"

He likes the 35 too, but says it thumps him off the bench.

Now that I finally got my own camera and life, at least for the moment, seems to be settling back down, I will be getting lots more pics of kids and guns.  Smiley

Yep.  My oldest Alex.  My youngest by five years, Sami, enjoys the outdoors but she loves my Harley.  She's the one I gotta keep a close eye on!  Wink

We did a lot of shooting, camping, and fishing over the years, just ain't got the pics to show for it but they do love it.  We're looking forward to getting back into the woods this year.

I found a couple more pictures of my boys out hunting. These pictures being posted are great. My wife and I are expecting our first child a BOY!  Grin  Grin  I can hardly wait to share some of my passions of shooting and hunting with him. I wonder if my wife will allow me to use him as an excuse to buy more rifles.  Wink  Grin
