I got 5 Sat. with my '97CB. Was finally gonna get to post some pics on here and guess what....

When I got home my better half had gone shoppin', and had the camera with her Roll Eyes!!!

A favorite recipe of mine is:

Boil'em till the meat pulls easily off the bone. Then suatee it in Barbeque sauce!!!! It don't matter what kind of BBQ sauce either. You know us Nawth Carolinians love us some BBQ!!

My mom gave me 2 recipes one for a vinegar based sauce(Pork BBQ) and one for a catsup based sauce(BBQ Chicken). She has always been in food services and is a great cook and very protective of her recipes. I'd love to pass them on to y'all but then I might not be invited to Sunday lunch anymore. I'm more fond of the Vinegar based BBQ's but I tried the catsup based sauce first a couple years ago. A guy that works with me asked if I was bringin' some more BBQ to work when I said something about going hunting Sat.

I've had a tough time finding squirrels since deer season ended.
They were all over the place when I was trying to locate deer. Angry

I took my dog, Jack, out to hunt squirrel and instead he treed two raccoons!

They were all the way in the top of the tree, but the 39A knocked 'em down!
These were my first 'coons...and likely my last.
I just didn't care for the taste and hate to be wasteful.
Maybe I cooked it wrong?

I skinned one out and cut it into quarters.
Trimmed as much fat off as I could and boiled it for about 10 minutes.

Then I just fried it up like you would rabbit or chicken.

It wasn't "bad", just not something I would go out of my way to get.
I like ground hog a LOT better!

kerr, believe it or not, but mine likes the bulk pack Federal stuff good enough for hunting.

It shoots the Rem.subsonics better for groups, though.
